Dr Michael (Mick) Amos - Specialist Orthodontist

Mick is originally from Kent but moved to Yorkshire in 1993 to undertake his undergraduate dental training. He completed his dental degree at Leeds Dental Institute in 1998.

After working as a children’s dentist in Australia for a year he returned to Yorkshire to continue his studies in oral surgery and general dental practice. He entered specialist orthodontic training in 2007 at the Leeds Dental Institute and York District Hospital.

Mick completed specialist training in 2010 and has since worked exclusively in a specialist orthodontic practice in the region.

During that time, he developed a keen interest in treating adolescent patients with jaw discrepancies and using discreet orthodontic appliances such as clear aligners

Mick is married and has a busy family life with four young children who occupy most of his spare time.
